Check NorCal Medal Finals off our list, and head to Brookside for the Cloverleaf Finals! Overlooking some odd weather early on, the whole week was super fun and a great experience for everyone!
Woody Allen and Jody put in solid rounds all weekend, leading to a win in the PCHA Jr/Am 2'9" Medal!
Jody also rode Feron to some great ribbons in the 2'6" hunters and the pleasure. The two finished up winning Reserve Champion in the English Pleasure division!
Callistro and Maureen continue to work their way through the 2'6" hunter division as well. Maureen then stepped up to the plate in the Acorn Equitation Classic and came home with a top 10 ribbon!
Lego and Lauren were determined to put in some good rounds in the Cloverleaf Finals. They prepared by winning Reserve Champion in the Kindergarten Jumpers and 4th in the Cloverleaf Jumper class on Friday. After scoring an 89 in her second round, they headed into the workoff and finished third! So proud of them!
Alpenglow got to return to the show ring with Brittany, and the two of them continue to grow a successful partnership! They also competed in the Acorn Equitation Classic and finished with 3rd!
PAS Caruso, "Uzo,"--offered for sale--joined us to start the week in the hunter ring and finish in the jumpers. This young horse stepped around the ring like he had been doing it for years, even in the mud on the first day! Winning 3 of his hunter classes resulted in a Champion in the USHJA 2'9" Hunters! Uzo has a quiet temperament, is brave to the jumps, and will only get better as he keeps gaining experience! Find more about Uzo here.
Cassl Coeur Z came to the show to step around the Brookside jumper ring to gain more practice. Despite his dislike for mud, he dealt with it and came home with a handful of ribbons!
Last but certainly not least, we got to have our friends Zip Cash and Carry and Amy ride with us and they continue to grow every time we se them! They put in some nice rounds in the jumper ring and finished Reserve Champion in the ,80m Jumpers!
As always, we can't thank the Brookside team enough for putting on a great show! They handled the Wednesday night rain so well and make it a great weekend!
