Fall Finale
After a great first week at Brookside, we headed back for the final show of the season! Great weather, great company, and great competition!
Lego and Lauren continued to learn and grow in the equitation and medal rings! They had a great week in the 3' hunter and equitation rings and finished the week with a Reserve Champion ribbon in the NorCal Equitation Classics 15-17 group!
Cassl Coeur Z and Debbie put in some very slick rounds in the Adult Amateur Jumpers, winning quite a few blue ribbons! The two of them finished Champion in their division!
Woody Allen and Jody stuck to the Equitation ring for the week and brought home a handful of good ribbons! The two of them finished Top 10 in the Zone 10 Medal Stirrup Cup Medal Challenge!
Feron truly put his best feet forward this week and Jody was able to ride him to multiple wins in the 2'6" hunter divisions! Added up, they finished winning Champion in the USHJA 2'6" Hunter division!
Sir Teddy, "Teddy,"--offered for sale--was able to join us again, this time under the riding of our very own Lauren! Despite not having much time to build a partnership, they figured each other out quickly and put in a bunch of rounds good enough to win Champion in the .90m jumpers and Reserve Champion in the 1.00m jumpers! Find more information on Teddy here.
Chicago 83, "Chicago,"--offered for sale--stepped onto the trailer after just a few days being with us. Our new friend, Kiera, who comes from Kelly Maddox Training, needed a horse to ride in order to compete in the Zone 10 Medal Challenge. She and Chicago worked together and grew together with every ride in the weekend, finishing up Reserve Champion in the Zone 10 Stirrup Cup Medal Challenge! Find more information on Chicago here.
Now it will be a long winter away from Brookside, but we look forward to seeing everyone next spring. Thanks for a great year!
