Back to Murieta we went for the final two shows of the season! Tim and his team always do a great job putting on this show, and the change in dates allowed so many more people to come! I'm sure it was a tad overwhelming, but certainly in a good way and it brought on some great competition!
Don Ole started the week in the USHJA 2'6" hunters, and then joined up with Nicola for the Long Stirrup classes! The two of them won some good ribbons, including a first in the under saddle!
Sportfield Condi dominated in the 1.00m Jumpers, winning good prizes in each class over the week to secure a Champion ribbon!
Halladio and Andrea continue to put in some solid rounds in the Performance 3'3" Hunters, and this week proved to have some intense competition! They also had a nice ride in the $20,000 Foxfarms Hunter Derby, despite how late it wound up going!
Lego and Lauren came back again for the Horse & Hound Medal Finals, as well as the Low Ch/Ad Jumper classes. She placed top 10 in the finals, then kicked it into high gear to win Champion in the Low Ch/Ad Jumpers and won the $1,500 Jumper Stake!
Woody Allen and Jody kept their week easy, riding in the Pre Ch/Ad Hunter division in order to practice for their classes next week!
Jody also partnered up with Feron for his English Pleasure classes, winning ribbons in every one, including a few firsts!
Callistro and Maureen continue to gain experience in the 2'9" ring, winning good ribbons in every hunter class, and doing some great riding in the main ring for the $2,500 Derby Challenge!
Florida and Amy had the opportunity to be here all week for this show, and the improvement really showed! They won ribbons in all of their classes, and even finished up Champion in the Long Stirrup division!
We love the Classics shows, and can't wait for the Northern Winter series next year!
